Annual General Meeting elects new Supervisory Board members and approves dividend of €2.40 per share

Augsburg, May 13, 2025: WashTec AG held its Annual General Meeting in Augsburg today. Around 100 shareholders attended in person. At the time the resolutions were passed, around 10.8 million voting shares were represented, corresponding to around 77 percent of the shares issued. The members of the Management Board and the Supervisory Board were discharged for the 2024 financial year.

The Annual General Meeting also approved all other items on the agenda by majority vote. It approved the proposal to pay a dividend of €2.40 per dividend-bearing share, as well as the two nominations.

Susanne Heckelsberger and Sabine Simeon Aissaoui were elected as two new members of the Supervisory Board.

“With their wide-ranging expertise and experience, our new colleagues are a great asset to our Supervisory Board. They round off our skills matrix very well. I am very much looking forward to working with them in the future,“ said Ulrich Bellgardt. He thanked the outgoing member of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Alexander Selent, for his many years of outstanding commitment: ”In the economic uncertainty of recent years, Dr. Alexander Selent's voice on the Supervisory Board has always been characterized by prudence and expertise. He has acted with clear thinking, economic foresight, and human integrity."

In his speech, Michael Drolshagen, CEO of WashTec AG, explained how the company continued to develop in the 2024 fiscal year despite a challenging market environment and was able to significantly increase its operating profit (EBIT) despite a slight decline in sales. “In the past twelve months, my first twelve, we were able to set an important course for the future of WashTec. Among other things, we introduced a new organizational structure and launched various programs to reduce complexity and costs. The full effect of these measures will unfold in the coming years with further increases in profitability,” explained Michael Drolshagen.
