High demand for Power X-Change takes Einhell’s revenue to a record high in the first quarter of 2025

Landau/Isar, 15 May 2025 – The Einhell Group achieved record revenue of EUR 302.8 million in the first three months of the 2025 financial year (previous year: EUR 269.5 million). This is 12.4 percent more than in the prior-year quarter. The revenue growth is driven by the continued high demand for Power X-Change products, resulting in higher revenues than in the first quarter of 2024 across all of the Group’s segments and regions. Power X-Change is Einhell’s rechargeable battery platform, which now comprises over 300 devices that are powered by the same type of battery. In the first quarter of 2025, Einhell generated 51 percent (previous year: 50 percent) of its revenue with Power X-Change tools.

Strong increase in earnings before taxes

“The positive revenue development confirms our strategy of focusing fully on our Power X-Change battery platform,” says Andreas Kroiss, CEO of Einhell Germany AG. “At the same time, we have once again managed to deliver an outstanding performance despite a challenging geopolitical environment with various volatilities.” Earnings before taxes grew by 26.5 percent to EUR 28.6 million in the first quarter of 2025 (previous year: EUR 22.6 million). Earnings per share amounted to EUR 1.8 per share, compared to EUR 1.4 per share in the same quarter of the previous year (up 28.6 percent).

Power X-Change platform remains the hero

Einhell aims to become the market leader in battery-powered tools and garden appliances. The Einhell Group’s business activities are therefore focused on the further growth of the Power X-Change platform. The goal is to expand the platform to over 350 products by the end of 2025 and achieve a PXC revenue share of more than 70 percent by 2027. The new Power X-Change product series “Einhell Professional” is aimed at professional tradespeople. The range is to be expanded to 117 products by the end of 2025.

International revenue and expansion

In Western Europe incl. D/A/CH, quarterly revenue rose by EUR 17.3 million to EUR 170.3 million in the first quarter of 2025. The share of PXC products is at an impressive 61% in Germany and approx. 84% in Austria.

Einhell also continues to grow internationally. In January 2025, Einhell founded Einhell Digital Greece I.K.E. as its majority shareholder. The IT service provider for software development, IT operations, IT support and business services offers its services from Greece for the entire Einhell Group.

Also in January 2025, Einhell Latam S.A.S., based in Bogotá, Colombia, commenced operations. This wholly owned subsidiary of Einhell Germany AG will serve the Latin American market.

Even greater brand visibility through premium sports partnerships

Einhell’s marketing activities include partnerships with successful sports teams. The ongoing partnership with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team is already having a positive impact on the Einhell brand image. The partnership with FC Bayern Munich will be further expanded to increase the visibility of the Einhell brand even more.

Outlook for financial year 2025

“Overall, we are positive with regard to the performance in the coming months. General consumer sentiment has improved somewhat since the poor start to 2025. We hope that this slightly positive trend will continue,” says Kroiss. “By continuously expanding our Power X-Change battery platform, we give even more DIYers and professionals a reason to choose Einhell.”
